Overview

Laboratory integration is paramount to getting results into a patient's clinical record. To this end, VetlinkPRO integrates to most commonly used in-house laboratory equipment as well as external pathology laboratories. Some are listed below; please contact us if you do not see what you are looking for as we are continually integrating with third parties.
 

In-House Equipment

• IDEXX

  

   
  VetlinkPRO has a full 2-way integration with IDEXX Vet Lab Stations. This means that a billing function for a test will automatically send a requisition with all patient details over the network. Once the test is completed, results automatically flow into the client's clinical notes with an in-tray to indicate to all staff that it has indeed come through.

• Abaxis

  

   
  VetlinkPRO will soon have full 2-way integration with Abaxis's VS2 and HM5 equipment. This means that a billing function for a test will automatically send a requisition with all patient details over the network. Once the test is completed, results automatically flow into the client's clinical notes with an in-tray to indicate to all staff that it has indeed come through.

 

External Pathology Labs

A number of external labs are supported with more being added all the time. At the time of writing, results from these labs were automatically imported into VetlinkPRO.
  

Scan Feature

---

There is a scan and photo capture feature under Clinical Notes, so any printed lab reports, if required, can be scanned in.
 

Import PDF, JPG, etc

---

If electronic reports are available in PDF or other formats then they can also be attached easily to a patient's clinical notes.
